Cake Ordering

All our cakes are made to order so we require a minimum of at least 14 days’ notice for Celebration Cakes and a minimum of 2 months’ notice for Wedding Cakes.  Please contact us to check our availability and to get an accurate quote.

 

Payment

Payment is to be made 90 days prior to pick up/delivery for Wedding Cakes and 30 days for Novelty Cakes.  The cake will be considered ordered only if an INITIAL DEPOSIT of 50% of the total value of the cake has been paid at the time of ordering.

The FULL AMOUNT must be settled (by cash, cheque or bank transfer) one month prior to the delivery date for a wedding cake and two weeks for a celebration cake and no changes can be made to the cake within that time.  Any changes requested before this time when applicable may alter the final price of the cake.

 

Delivery

FLAIR4CAKES is not responsible for cakes after they have been picked up by the customer, and FLAIR4CAKES is not responsible for the cake after assembling by anyone other than the delivering person from FLAIR4CAKES.

Delivery will be 40p per mile per return trip from the pickup location.

 

Set up Costs

The set up cost at the venue is £20 per hour.

 

Hire Items

The cost of hiring a Cake Stand is as follows:-

20” Round or Square Silver Heavy-Duty Base: £35.00
14” Round or Square Silver Base: £15.00
2-Tier Rectangular Satin-Cushioned Base: £25.00
3-Tier ‘S’ Stand  or 3-Tier Swan Stand £25.00
Mini Cake/Cup Cake Ceramic Stand £25.00
Ceramic Glass Stands (2-Tier, 3-Tier or 4-Tier) £25.00

 

In addition to the above prices, a refundable deposit of £120.00 will be applied to our 20″ Round/Square stands, £100 for our 2-Tier, 3-Tier and 4-Tier stands and £50 to our 14” Round or Square Silver Base and Cup Cake Stands.

The RETURNABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT is refundable if the item is returned, in good condition, within 4 days of the delivery date.  Should the return of the Cake Stand be delayed, a DAILY CHARGE of £4 per day will be applied until the item is returned. This charge will be deducted from the RETURNABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT.  If the returned item is damaged, the RETURNABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT will be forfeited.

 

Cancellation of Wedding Cake Orders

1. If the order is cancelled within 60-90 days (2-3 months) prior to the delivery date, 50% of the INITIAL DEPOSIT will be refunded.
2. If the order is cancelled between 30-60 days, (1-2 months) prior to the delivery date, 25% of the INITIAL DEPOSIT will be refunded.
3. If the order is cancelled between 0-30 days (0-1 month) prior to the delivery date, no deposit or payment already made will be refunded.

 

Cancellation of Celebration & Novelty Cake Orders

1. If the order is cancelled within 15-30 days prior to the delivery date, 50% of the INITIAL DEPOSIT will be refunded.
2. If the order is cancelled within 5-15 days prior to the delivery date, 25% of the INITIAL DEPOSIT will be refunded.
3. If the order is cancelled between the 0-5 days prior to the delivery date, no deposit or payment already made will be refunded.

Data we will collect from you

We will collect personal information about you when you enquire about our cakes or cake services by phone or email.

The personal information collected in the above manner may include your:

1.  Full Name

2.  Delivery Address

3.  Telephone/Mobile number

4.  Email address.

How long we will keep your personal data

We will retain your information for accounting purposes which determine the period of time for which we need to keep such information.

We will remove your data from our systems at the end of the applicable data retention period, unless we are required by current or future law to retain your personal information for a longer period.

Data Security

To protect your information, we have policies and procedures in place to ensure that your information is handled and stored in a secure and sensible manner and all systems that can access the information have proportionate and reasonable security measures in place.  We take commercial, reasonable measures to ensure the safety and security of your data.

Your Legal Rights

1.  At any point you may contact us to request details concerning the information we hold about you.

2.  If the data we hold about you is out of date, incomplete or incorrect, you can inform us and we will ensure that it is updated.

3.  If you feel that we should no longer be keeping your data you can request that we erase the data we hold for you.  When we receive your request, we will confirm that the data has been deleted.
